In the fall of 2021, both Town and County Councils voted to explore the potential for the two municipal units to become one. The next part of the exploration phase involves hearing from you, the residents of Antigonish. In the coming weeks, we will be announcing our community engagement schedule. This is the opportunity for us to hear feedback, questions, and concerns.
The Town and County have set up a website where we will be updating information regularly related to consolidation. On this website, you will find a FAQ, as well as a link to a forum where you can participate in online discussions with us and other residents. To visit this website, click here.
